El Nino

El Nino is here. This typically means warmer winters. Scientist will explain it as a periodic warming of central and eastern tropical Pacific waters, occurring on average every two to five years and typically lasts about 12 months. Not good if you are wanting to go ski or fish a river that is glacier run off.

As I sit in my living room listening to the rain beat against the cedar shingle's, I can only hope its snowing at 2500 feet. If so, then I have the best of both worlds snowboarding my local mountain and Steelhead fishing my home waters. Here is a link to additional info on El Nino.
