Breakfast of Champions " also  nice  M&M color comb!
Disguising the merits of fishing hand tied vs manufactured Idylwilde flies. The consensus was, you will be MORE AWESOME if you fish Idylwilde.
The "Silvey"nator rigging up rods.

Despite the wind, rain and snow, a dozen anglers managed to make it to the clinic this weekend. We huddled a round a fire, ate Portland's famous Voodoo donuts, talked about rod sizes, flies to fish, sink tips, casting techniques and what Silveynators have in common with Voodoo Donuts. 1. Great seeing you guys and also meeting some new peeps on the river! I missed the Voodoos but we still managed to feed our gluttony with some fattie burgers and cold IPAs afterwards.....a fantastic way to end a nice afternoon on the river.

Oh....and the Silveynators and Voodoo donuts? Quite simply both are like pure crack. One is irresistible to humans and the other is irresistible to o-mykiss....any way you slice it, resistance is futile!

  2. Silvey can do his own doughnuts on his jet ski! I'm surprised "The Champ" didn't bring his ski for an after class session.

  3. More accurately: Voodoo doughnuts are poisonous to humans, and Silveynators are deadly to steelhead.
