This weekend, I received a job offer with a non profit Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP). I learned of the opening as a Oregon Field Representative in July, did some research on TRCP and thought, this is a group of passionate hunters and anglers I would enjoy working with. Being an avid fisherman and hunter, I believe we need to protect the special places we love to hunt and fish for future generations and TRCP is doing that.
I'm thrilled to start working for TRCP in November, after the John Day Steelhead season. I will continue to guide Steelhead trips when time permits, and yes, Marty will keep guiding too!
TRCP's mission: To guarantee all Americans quality places to hunt and fish, we strengthen laws, policies and practices affecting fish and wildlife conservation by leading partnerships that influence decision makers.
